Update, 12/30: Entertainment Weekly has your first look at Bran Stark from Season 6 of Game of Thrones. Bran was absent from all of Season 5, and his return marks big things for the show.

Update, 12/7: HBO released its year-end video last night, recapping its original series and current film selection and providing a preview of 2016. Naturally, Game of Thrones featured heavily in the short, including glimpses of footage from Season 6, set to air in April. Get your first look at Daenerys, Ramsay Bolton and a short-haired Cersei below.

Original Post, 12/3: Game of Thrones fans—especially Jon Snow truthers—are in for a treat with the very first teaser trailer for Season 6. The fallen bastard—who we last saw lying in a pool of blood during the Season 5 finale—stands alone in the trailer's first shot as a voiceover recites, "We watch, we listen and we remember. The past is already written. The ink is dry." Cue a flashback to the most brutal moments in the show's bloody history, from Ned Stark's beheading to the red wedding. Finally, we get a glimpse of Bran (absent during all of last season) in the final moments: "They have no idea what's going to happen."

April can't come soon enough.
